Octi
All your Android devices, closer together than ever.
Octi facilitates cross-device information exchange/monitoring/synchronization.
Information modules:
- Battery: Charge level, speed and estimates.
- Connectivity: Wifi SSID, IP.
- Installed apps: Last installed app, app list.
- Clipboard: Copy clipboard text into Octi to share it with other devices.
- …
Synchronization options:
- Google Drive: Easy to use if all devices use the same account.
- Octi Server: End-To-End encrypted server that doesn’t require a Google account.
Companion clients (early-stage, talk to the same Octi Server):
- Octi Desktop — Compose Multiplatform desktop client (Linux / macOS / Windows).
- Octi Web — Browser-based client, connects directly to your self-hosted Octi Server.
Community clients, built and maintained by others:
- octi-home-assistant by @alsd4git, exposes Octi device state as Home Assistant entities. Installable through HACS.
Writing your own client? The sync protocol reference documents the Octi Server wire protocol: linking, HTTP API, change notifications, and end-to-end encryption, and branding/ covers when you may use the Octi icon and how to name your project.
